Blockstream (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Blockstream mobile application and related services (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App, in compliance with Google Play Store & Apple App Store requirements for 2026 distribution. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described herein.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could be associated with you (“Personal Data”):
- Account Data: When you register via email, phone number, name, and password. Optional verification data (email/SMS).
- Profile & Activity: Projects you add, feasibility studies, estimated costs, investment amounts, liked projects, comments, and favorites.
- Investment & Transaction Data: Shares purchased, project investments, payment method details (processed by third-party PCI-compliant gateways). We do not store full card details.
- Communications & Support: Messages, support tickets, feedback.
- Usage & Device Data: Device identifiers, IP address, app version, operating system, crash logs, and analytics to improve performance.
- User Content: Files or attachments you upload (feasibility studies, documents) – stored securely.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use Personal Data to:
- Create and manage your account, authenticate access.
- Display investment projects, enable likes/comments, and facilitate share purchases.
- Send notifications about project updates, investment reports, new opportunities, and activity on your projects.
- Process investments, track performance, and show reports on My Investments / My Projects pages.
- Improve and personalize the App, analyze trends, and ensure security.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your Personal Data. We may share data in these limited circumstances:
- With other users: When you invest in a project, the project owner can see your investment amount (username remains visible). When you comment/like, that action is public to platform users.
- Service providers: Hosting, cloud storage, analytics (e.g., Firebase), crash reporting, and payment processors (Stripe or similar).
- Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental request, or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
4. Data Retention & Security
We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account. Even after deletion, we may retain limited data for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes. We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption, access controls, regular audits). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to: access, correct, delete, restrict processing, data portability, and withdraw consent. You can manage most data via “My Profile” screen or contact us. To delete your account and associated data, email operations@amctag.com or use in-app deletion feature (available under Settings). We will respond within 30 days.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not intended for individuals under the age of 18 (or legal age for investment in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it immediately.
7. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
Terms of Service
Last Modified: April 25, 2026 — These Terms govern your access and use of the Blockstream mobile application, including all features (project creation, investments, comments, likes, reports). By registering or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to register and use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and, if applicable, to make investment decisions. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your login credentials secure. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
2. User Content & Project Ownership
Users may create investment projects (“Projects”) including name, description, feasibility study, estimated cost, and attachments. By submitting a Project, you grant Blockstream a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote your content within the App. You retain all ownership rights. You represent that your Project content does not violate any third-party intellectual property or applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove any Project that is misleading, fraudulent, offensive, or violates these Terms.
3. Investments & Financial Disclaimers

Blockstream is a platform that connects project owners with potential investors. We do not provide investment advice, brokerage services, or financial counseling. All investment decisions are solely your responsibility. Purchasing shares or investing in Projects involves substantial risk, including the potential loss of your entire investment. Project owners are responsible for their feasibility studies and performance reports. Blockstream does not guarantee the accuracy of any project data, future returns, or profitability. You should conduct your own due diligence and consult with a qualified financial advisor before investing. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
We may use third-party payment processors to handle investment transactions. You agree that Blockstream is not liable for any loss, damages, or claims arising from your investment activities within the App.
4. My Projects & My Investments Features
Through the “My Projects” page, you can add, edit, delete, or temporarily hide your Projects. You may track engagement metrics (likes, comments, investments). Through the “My Investments” page, you can monitor your invested amounts, current value (based on project reports), and performance updates. Project owners are required to provide monthly or bi-monthly updates, but Blockstream does not audit such updates. If you suspect inaccuracy, please report to us.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, deceptive, or fraudulent Projects or feasibility studies.
- Manipulate investment metrics, likes, or comments through artificial means.
- Use the App for any illegal activity or money laundering.
- Harass, abuse, defame, or violate others’ rights.
- Copy, reverse-engineer, or scrape any App content without permission.
- Interfere with security features or transmit malware.
Violation may lead to immediate suspension or termination of your account, and potential legal action.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Blockstream App, including its design, logos, UI elements, and underlying code, is owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any portion of the App without prior written consent.
7. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, you lose access to your account, and we may delete your data subject to our Privacy Policy. However, project owners’ existing obligations to investors may survive termination in limited circumstances.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE APP AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLOCKSTREAM AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR INVESTMENT ACTIVITIES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blockstream, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your use of the App.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Doha, Qatar. You waive any objection based on improper venue. For small claims or mandatory arbitration requirements under app store guidelines, you may contact us first to resolve disputes amicably.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app alert or email. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
